Raw Thought (from Aaron Swartz): “In his elegant little book, the poorly-titled No One Makes You Shop At Wal-Mart, Slee walks through the major discoveries of game theory, explains them in simple language with reference to a fictional town of Whimsley, and discusses how they refute standard economic conclusions while still playing by basic economic assumptions with effects that appear to show up in the real world.”

Rebutting the story of UserLand
According to [this official looking website](http://www.sccaseinfo.org/pa5.asp?full_case_number=1-06-CV-069576), the court case of Winer vs Russo isn’t yet settled.
I was a contract worker for a time working with the new UserLand (Radio UserLand, Inc.) to help market and develop software. I had a blast and learned a lot about software, people, programming and myself. Scott Young and Scott Shuda are two first-class people and I was grateful to be taken under their wing.
Maybe one day I’ll return to the land of UserTalk…hmmm…

Perl is a love language
Julie Leung: Seedlings & Sprouts: “Jenny described the love languages in her family. I think that Ted wanted to fix my blog, not because it was a challenge to his skills or perhaps even insult to his pride, but because he loves me. He’s always supported and encouraged me in all my blogging endeavors and he understands how much of myself I’ve poured into that Movable Type installation on our server. Ted worked and hacked, eventually finding a solution that would allow me to use my blog again, out of his heart and passion for me. Perl is a love language.”
